Our Clinical services are supports which use evidence-based practices to identify the causes of, intervene to prevent, and appropriately react to challenging communication presented by others.

Person Centered support relies heavily on the clinical services and direct support staff working together to ensure the safety and success of each individual. Our Clinical services are supports which use evidence-based practices to identify the causes of, intervene to prevent, and appropriately react to challenging communication presented by others.
- This support begins with an initial Biopsychosocial Assessment and Functional Behavior Assessment as a means of gathering a holistic view of the individual and their needs. From this point, a hypotheses of function of behaviors, and recommended goals/interventions are developed in order to create and implement a positive behavior support plan.
- The Behavioral Specialist monitors and implements the positive behavior support plan, collects on-going data, and revises the support plan as needed based on the progress or change in need of the individual.
- The Behavior Specialist models evidence-based interventions for those working directly with the individual and conducts on-going observations of the individual to ensure settings to ensure that the team is working to address the needs of the individual.
- The Behavioral Specialist evaluates the effectiveness of the behavioral support plan and assesses the need for any adjustments to the intervention strategies.
- Direct support professionals receive diverse and comprehensive training in order to support individuals with a variety of complex challenges.
- Training topics address individual needs and apply positive interaction strategies in order to encourage growth for both the employee and the individual receiving supports.
- Teams experience continued training and ongoing supports in order to increase knowledge and/or to adjust to the changing needs of the individual.
