The service is designed to allow families time to rest from the daily physical and emotional demands of caring for an individual with autism and intellectual disabilities.
Staff will come to your home and care for your loved one allowing time for families to rest and/or recreate.
This service can:
Reduce the stress and fatigue associated with the daily tasks of caring for your loved one.
Allow for time with other family members or friends.
Allow time for running errands or attending medical appointments.
Staff members receive specialized training and will provide your child with an array of services such as companionship, assistance on community outings including doctor appointments, and developing/ strengthening your loved ones daily living skills.
Our services can be used on a regular or irregular basis.
Respite care services can be provided in a variety of settings including:
The family’s home
A relative’s home
A community setting
