Supported Employment helps individuals seek and obtain competitive employment in a field that they desire to work within, and a job coach supports, job coaches supports the individual for a specified time for Community Based Employment.
Job Coaching, refers to the training of an employee by an approved specialist using structured intervention techniques to help the employee learn both how to perform job tasks to the employer’s specifications. Job coaching services assist the employee in learning new tasks and skills, especially if they have difficulty learning new tasks due to a disability. Workplace Solutions and Adjustments:

Types of Employment:Individual Gainful Employment - An individual is employed by the business and utilizes a job coach to ensure their success.
Mobile Work Crew - (MWC) consists of a team of individuals (typically between 2 to 4), who are supervised by a job coach. The crew completes services such as maintenance, lawn care, janitorial services, (or similar tasks), usually before the business is open. The crew of individuals can be paid directly by the employer, or by an invoice. Enclave - They can consist of any number of individuals performing work duties ( a specific task, or multiple tasks) while working alongside non-disabled workers. Job coaches are assigned depending on the amount of individuals in the enclave. |
